How To Apply For 2021/2022 Ministry Of Health Recruitment For 2019 Nurses & Midwives

Following the release of Financial clearance by the ministry of finance for the recruitment of some 11,226 Nurses & Midwives, the Plus233 team has organized some important information to help prospective applicants prepare themselves ahead of their application and postings.

Though the  Ministry of Health has not announced the date for the recruitment of 2019  trained nurses and midwives, we are hoping recruitment may commence after December 1, 2021, the effective date for the clearance of the above-mentioned batch of nurses.

 

Over the years recruitments of eligible applicants are made through the ministry’s online Human Resource application portal (https://hr.moh.gov.gh/)

Interested applicants should get prepared with the following steps to get enrolled successfully when the recruitment portal gets opened.

NOTE: PORTAL HAS NOT YET BEEN OPENED FOR RECRUITMENT, ALSO THERE ARE NO AUTHORIZED MIDDLEMEN FOR THE RECRUITMENT

Application Requirements.

It is advisable to get a copy of the following documents by your side:

  • NMC result slip
  • NMC certificate (for registration number and date)
  • softcopy of passport-sized photo (Nursing format) (512kb)
  • Pin (Front and Back) and any other necessary documents.
  • Date of commencement and completion of training
  • Region of preferred hospital

STAGE 1: PROCEED TO CHECK CLEARANCE

log on to https://hr.moh.gov.gh/

  • click check clearance
  • Enter your index Number and hit the submit button and wait for feedback.

If the system confirms that you have financial clearance for particular recruitment round, you will be redirected to create an account in order to log in and complete the application using the link below:

https://hr.moh.gov.gh/register

STAGE 2: CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT

  • Enter your index number
  • Email address (active one, if there’s none, create a new one via Gmail, Hotmail or yahoo.
  • Enter Password
  • Re-enter the password to confirm

NOTE: Ensure all information are accurately entered

Congratulations you have successfully created your account, proceed with the final part of the application by logging into the account and fill the forms and upload the necessary documents.

You will receive feedback from the Ministry of Health after a successful application.

Some infos needed to complete the applications includes, cadre, permanent address, region preferred, Hospital if it’s a Teaching Hospital, index number, date of commencement and completion of training, contact number (to receive posting sms) and next of kin details.

STEP 1: login to your application dashboard after account creation and click new application

STEP 2:Enter details, agency; CHAG, GHS, TEACHING HOSPITALS etc and click next

STEP 3 : Enter your personal details and upload a passport photo sized with size not more than 512 kb

 

(*) OR RED MARKED FIELDS ARE REQUIRED TO PROCEED

STEP 4: Fill in your educational information and click next

STEP 5: Enter your regulatory body information found on your certificate, or contact NMC for more info. and click save as indicated in the image below, your NMC index number and date of registration found on the cerificate NMC certificate.

 

STEP 6: Final stage kindly review the whole application form before you submit

After successfully submitting your application form you will see application submitted to further confirm go back to your dashboard to check status of your application as represented below.

 

Note that the portal can be very slow due to pressure hence the need to use a high speed internet and machine.
